Abstract

We are proposing to amend the Animal Welfare Act regulations to require the submission of itineraries by traveling exhibitors. By requiring the submission of itineraries by traveling exhibitors, we would ensure that APHIS inspectors have access to their facilities for unannounced inspections, wherever the animals may be. We believe this action is necessary to ensure compliance with the regulations and the Animal Welfare Act.
