Abstract

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) is preparing a draft programmatic environmental impact statement (PEIS) to consider impacts of potential offshore wind development in the six New York Bight lease areas. The publication of this Notice of Intent initiates the public scoping period during which the agency is seeking public input concerning the development of offshore wind in the New York Bight lease areas.
