Abstract

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) is proposing regulatory changes to its Marine Archaeology survey requirements for all oil and gas exploration and development plans submitted to BOEM for approval of activities proposed on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS). The document is a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking intended to modernize the performance and data standards required by any archaeological report.
