Abstract

This guidance will advise states on how to develop and submit regional haze SIPs for the second implementation period (2018-2028). The required content of these SIPs is specified in the Regional Haze Rule, which is in the process of revision. When that rule revision and this guidance are both final, the guidance will contain EPA interpretations of the requirements of the Clean Air Act (CAA) and the revised Regional Haze Rule, and offer recommendations to states.
