Abstract

This AWP is for horizontal directional drilling (HDD) using close tolerance pipe slurrification (CTPS) to remove asbestos cement (A/C) pipes in a process which finely grinds the A/C pipe in a slurry mixture, removes the slurry at vertical access points, and disposes of all A/C pipe waste in accordance with the requirements of the Asbestos NESHAP.
