Abstract

EPA will propose to amend the regulations to improve accuracy and reduce testing burden. EPA is also proposing other amendments that will impact light-duty vehicles, heavy-duty vehicles, locomotives, marine engines and other nonroad engines and vehicles. These other amendments would add compliance flexibility, harmonize with other requirements, add clarity, correct various errors, and streamline the regulations.
