Abstract

The Environmental Protection Agency proposes to update the Protection of Visibility: Amendments to Requirements for State Plans Rule (82 FR 3078, January 10, 2017). This rulemaking, which will focus on the regional haze third planning period, will address implementation challenges and stakeholder feedback received on the 2017 rulemaking and subsequent guidance documents. This regulatory action will serve as the action described in a January 17, 2018, letter regarding petitions for reconsideration on the 2017 rule revisions.
