Abstract
In this action the EPA revisited previous actions finalizing the disapproval or partial disapproval of state implementation plans (SIPs) addressing states’ interstate transport obligations under the 2015 ozone national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS). This action would approve certain states' SIPs, resolving these states' obligations under CAA section 110(a)(2)(D)(i)(I) to eliminate significant contribution to nonattainment or interference with maintenance of the 2015 8-hour ozone NAAQS. The EPA also proposes to withdraw previously finalized disapproved SIPs for five of these states, withdraw previously proposed disapprovals for three of these states, and withdraw previously proposed error corrections for two other states.
