Abstract

The Pesticide Registration Improvement Act of 2022 (PRIA 5) included set-aside funds of up to $2.5 million for Fiscal Years 2023-2027 to provide grants to nonprofit organizations for purposes of facilitating a Health Care Provider (HCP) Training Program – a cooperative agreement aimed at helping medical professionals prevent, recognize, treat, and manage pesticide-related illness. Through this Request For Information (RFI), EPA invites the public to provide comments on proposed design of the HCP Training Program. EPA may use comments received during this RFI process to assist in developing new or future pesticide cooperative agreements’ Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs). This RFI is for information gathering purposes only and should not be construed as a NOFO or obligation on the part of EPA to provide funding.
