Abstract

EPA is designating D-gluco-heptonic acid sodium salt (1:1), (2.xi.)- (CASRN 31138-65-5), common name sodium glucoheptonate, as a low-priority substance. As required under section 6(b) of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) implementing regulations, EPA is designating 20 chemical substances as low-priority substances for which risk evaluation is not warranted at this time. The document in this docket provides a summary of the approach, analysis, and basis for the final designation of D-gluco-heptonic acid, sodium salt (1:1), (2.xi.)- as a low-priority substance.
