Abstract

EPA is designating decanedioic acid, 1,10-dibutyl ester (CASRN 109-43-3), common name dibutyl sebacate, as a low-priority substance. As required under section 6(b) of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) implementing regulations, EPA is designating 20 chemical substances as low-priority substances for which risk evaluation is not warranted at this time. The document in this docket provides a summary of the approach, analysis, and basis for the final designation of decanedioic acid, 1,10-dibutyl ester as a low-priority substance.
