Abstract

EPA is designating propanol, 1(or 2)-(2-methoxymethylethoxy)-, acetate (CASRN 88917-22-0), common name DPMA, as a low-priority substance. As required under section 6(b) of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) implementing regulations, EPA is designating 20 chemical substances as low-priority substances for which risk evaluation is not warranted at this time. The document in this docket provides a summary of the approach, analysis, and basis for the final designation of propanol, 1(or 2)-(2-methoxymethylethoxy)-, acetate as a low-priority substance.
