Abstract

This action is the reissuance of the current EPA NPDES general permit for stormwater discharges from construction activities, also referred to as the Construction General Permit (CGP). The current 2017 CGP expires on February 16, 2022. The reissued 2022 CGP will apply to areas of the country where the EPA remains the NPDES permitting authority and has made the permit available for coverage, including Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Mexico, the District of Columbia, Federal facilities, Indian Country lands, and U.S. territories. The EPA is reissuing this permit under the authority of 33 U.S.C. 1342(p), as well as 40 CFR 122.26(a)(1)(ii) and (a)(9)(i)(B). Related to EPA-HQ-OW-2015–0828
