Abstract

Subject: Minimum Training Requirements for Operators of Longer Combination Vehicles and Driver-Instructor Requirements Abstract: Comment of the Department of Transportation. This action requires the Secretary of Transportation to initiate a rulemeaking proceeding to established minimum training requirements for operators of LVC's. The Congress also directed that this training include certification of an operators proficiency by an instructor who has met the requirements established by the Secretary.
