Abstract

NMFS is establishing a Take Reduction Team to address the incidental mortality and serious injury of humpback whales in the Pacific Ocean. This Team will develop a Take Reduction Plan as required under the Marine Mammal Protection Act. NMFS requests public comments on information relevant to establishing the Team as well as interest from stakeholders who wish to be considered for Team membership.
