Abstract
Consistent with Executive Order 14300, Ordering the Reform of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the NRC is conducting a review and wholesale revision of its regulations. This initiative aims to modernize and clarify regulatory requirements, and reduce unnecessary burden. This will be accomplished by amending the NRC’s regulations for byproduct, source, and special nuclear material.
