Abstract

"Rulemaking pursuant to the September 2, 2014, Settlement Agreement Between the Association of American Railroads and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to expand exemptions for certain railroad roadway work and related machine use; to remove requirements for operator training and certification; to provide alternatives to manufacturer approval of modified equipment use and operation so long as a qualified person or registered professional engineer approved the modified uses.
