Abstract

This policy statement provides guidance for demonstrating an aircraft is a “radio altimeter tolerant airplane” as defined in paragraph (g)(1) of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airworthiness Directive (AD) 2023-10-02[1] or a “radio altimeter tolerant rotorcraft” as defined in paragraph (g)(1) of AD 2023-11-07[2] using a method approved by the FAA.
