The Air Transport Association (ATA) submits the attached comment received from its member air carrier, Alaska Airlines. This comment expresses concern with the required addition of a sticker ... due to the very strong potential for a sticker to come "unglued" in the environment of battery locations. It is suggested thata more permanent and positive method of identifying the modification would be with a required part number change on the battery dataplate.
