The Alliance for Automotive Innovation (Auto Innovators) appreciates the opportunity to provide comments in response to the September 7, 2023, Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) to amend Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 208, "Occupant crash protection," to require a seat belt use warning system for rear seats and update certain existing front seat belt warning requirements.
