The attached comments from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) commends the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) proposed rule entitled "National Primary Drinking Water Regulations for Lead and Copper: Improvements (LCRI)" (docket number: EPA-HQ-OW-2022-0801) and provides input on this proposed rule. The AAP appreciates the opportunity to provide comments on this important children's health issue and urges EPA to approve the strongest rule possible.
