ACC appreciates the opportunity to comment on the beta version of the Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool, released February 23, 2022. ACC and its members appreciate this Administration's efforts to promote climate, social, and environmental equity throughout its key programs and priority areas in a clear and transparent manner. This is particularly important for the Justice40 Initiative, which outlines the Administration's commitment to deliver 40 percent of the overall benefits of Federal climate, clean energy, affordable and sustainable housing, clean water, and other investments to designated disadvantaged communities.
