The Ethylene Oxide/Ethylene Glycols Panel (Panel) of the American Chemistry Council submits these comments to the United States Environmental Protection Agency?s (EPA) Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) in response to the May 30, 2007, Federal Register notice announcing the availability of the revised risk assessments and related documents for the pesticide ethylene oxide (EO). The Ethylene Oxide/Ethylene Glycols Panel (Panel) of the American Chemistry Council submits these attached comments to the United States Environmental Protection Agency?s (EPA) Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) in response to the February 22, 2006, Federal Register notice announcing the availability of the revised risk assessments and related documents for the pesticide ethylene oxide (EO) (together, Revised Preliminary Risk Assessment) and the solicitation of risk reduction options under Phase 5 of EPA?s reregistration eligibility decision (RED) process.
