Abstract
EPA is designating propanol, [(1-methyl-1,2-ethanediyl)bis(oxy)]bis- (CASRN 24800-44-0), common name tripropylene glycol, as a low-priority substance. As required under section 6(b) of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) implementing regulations, EPA is designating 20 chemical substances as low-priority substances for which risk evaluation is not warranted at this time. The document in this docket provides a summary of the approach, analysis, and basis for the final designation of propanol, [(1-methyl-1,2-ethanediyl)bis(oxy)]bis- as a low-priority substance.
