Abstract

The “ORD Handbook for Developing IRIS Assessments,” or IRIS Handbook, is a tool developed by CPHEA to provide operating procedures for developing assessments including incorporation of systematic review principles to the scientists in the IRIS Program. The IRIS Handbook implements recommendations from the National Research Council (NRC)/National Academy of Sciences (NAS), EPA’s Science Advisory Board, and workshops involving expert practitioners of systematic review.
