Abstract

EPA's Office of Research and Development is working to increase understanding about the potential human health impacts of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. As a part of these efforts, EPA's Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS) is developing human health assessments for the following PFAS compounds: perfluorodecanoic acid (PFDA), perfluorononanoic acid (PFNA), perfluorohexanoic acid (PFHxA), perfluorohexanesulfonate (PFHxS), and perfluorobutanoic acid (PFBA). This docket serves as a central repository for Federal Register Notices on overarching IRIS PFAS activities. Comments on individual PFAS chemicals should be provided within each chemical-specific PFAS docket.
