Abstract
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to promulgate new methods and update methods at 40 CFR Part 136 for the Clean Water Act. This proposal includes adding laboratory methods to be used by industries and municipalities for reporting under the EPA’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit program. The Clean Water Act requires the EPA to promulgate test procedures for analysis of pollutants.
