The Solvents Industry Group (SIG) and the Glycol Ethers Panel of the American Chemistry Council appreciate the opportunity to comment on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA or Agency) proposed rule in which EPA finds that the California State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the South Coast Air Basin (South Coast) is substantially inadequate to comply with the one-hour ozone standard. Please find the attached comments.
