Notice of Intention for ACC to appear at OSHA's informal public hearing on March 2, 2010 in Washington, DC. We submit Robert Kiefer's name as a placeholder at this time. ACC submitted extensive comments in December in support of efficient implementation of the GHS for workplace chemicals, appropriate modifications of OHSA's HCS, and reasonable transition times.
Please note that yesterday (Jan. 18) I experienced difficulties with the www.regulations.gov website and was unable to submit this Notice of Intent to Appear. I also required technical assistance with the website today and I am submitting the Notice at this time. ------------------------------------- The American Chemistry Council Biocides Panel is submitting this letter as a formal notice of our intent to appear at the March 2, 2010 informal hearing in Washington, D.C., to provide oral testimony on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) proposed rule on the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals.
