Attached are the comments of the American Gas Association (AGA) on EPA's Advance Notice of Potential Future Regulation Addressing Pyrolysis and Gasification Units, including Attachment A to AGA's Comments, a chart comparing Emissions from Gasification of Organic Waste to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) to Emissions from Biomass Power Facilities.

Abstract

The Environmental Protection Agency is seeking comments and data to assist in the consideration of potential development of future regulations pertaining to pyrolysis and gasification units that are used to convert waste, biomass, and organic contaminants in soils and oily sludges to useful products such as fuels and chemical commodities.
