Attached are the American Iron and Steel Institute public comments on the EPA/NHTSA SAFE proposed rule. Paul Balserak Vice President, Environment American Iron and Steel Institute

Abstract

EPA established national GHG emissions standards under the Clean Air Act that extend through 2025. In this rulemaking, EPA will propose adjustments to those standards, following conclusion of the Mid-Term Evaluation (MTE) process and EPA’s Final Determination that it is appropriate to adjust the MY2022-2025 GHG emission standards.
