API welcomes the opportunity submit comments regarding the Exclusion Process for Section 232 Steel and Aluminum Import Tariffs and Quotas. Please see the attached file.
In rendering decisions on requests for exclusions from the tariffs and quotas imposed on imports of steel and aluminum articles, the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) is seeking public comment on the appropriateness of the information requested and considered in applying the exclusion criteria, and the efficiency and transparency of the process employed. Comments must be received by BIS no later than July 10, 2020.
