Nov 9, 2009· Comment submitted by Ted Steichen, Policy Advisor, Regulatory and Scientific Affairs, American Petroleum Institute (API)· EPA-HQ-OAR-2008-0699-0008

The American Petroleum Institute (API) represents nearly 400 member companies involved in all aspects of the oil and natural gas industry. API is pleased to submit the following comments on the Integrated Review Plan (IRP) for Ozone, External Review Draft. API finds this Draft IRP does not, in some instances, provide sufficient time for useful public comment. API is also concerned about the recent examples of EPA not fully considering public comments in the development of the review documents.
