Please find attached as a PDF file the American Petroleum Institute (API) comments on "Revisions to Testing Regulations for Air Emission Sources: Proposed Rule." This proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on January 26, 2018 at 83 Fed. Reg. 3636.
This rule proposes technical and editorial corrections for source testing of emissions. Corrections and updates to testing provisions that contain inaccuracies and outdated procedures would be made, and new alternatives that have been approved would be added. These revisions would improve the quality of data and give testers the flexibility to use newly approved alternative procedures.
