Abstract
EPA is developing a proposal to facilitate the expanded use of electronic reporting under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). This action is intended to streamline and reduce the administrative costs and burdens of submitting health and safety data, for both industry and the EPA, by establishing standards and requirements using EPA’s Central Data Exchange (CDX) to electronically submit health and safety data to the Agency. Specifically, EPA is developing a proposal to amend the implementing regulations for submissions under section 4, 5, 8(a), and 8(d) of TSCA to facilitate the use of electronic reporting.
