American Petroleum Institute request for extension of the comment period for Proposed Rule - Water Quality Standards; Establishment of Revised Numeric Criteria for Selenium for the San Francisco Bay and Delta, State of California, 81 Fed. Reg. 46030, July 15, 2016.

Abstract

EPA is proposing to promulgate Federal water quality criteria to protect wildlife in the San Francisco Bay and California Delta from the harmful effects of selenium. These criteria will incorporate the latest scientific data and will be derived specifically to protect aquatic and aquatic-dependent species in the Bay-Delta ecosystem, including species listed as threatened and endangered under the federal Endangered Species Act.
