Mr. Riemer has many years of royalty experience at Marathon Oil Corporation and has represented the interests of the leases they hold with clarity and professional integrity. Marathon, as a large oil and gas production company, maintains a significant number of Indian leases. Dan Reimer works with Indian leases regularly, providing oversight to the reporting and payment functions on those properties. Given this, Mr. Riemer's professional interest and experience aligns with the needs of the agency as it invites representation to the rulemaking committee. Mr. Riemer currently serves on the API Royalty Subcommittee and is an active contributor to the work of the group, addressing policy and programmatic issues affecting royalty collection and reporting. He will bring the highest standard of professionalism to the rulemaking committee and his contributions will be informed and constructive. He will use all relevant data to assist and inform decisions as ONRR revises existing regulations for oil production from Indian leases.
