The American Petroleum Institute (API) and the Liquid Energy Pipeline Association (LEPA) are submitting comments in support of the proposed modifications to the regulations to increase the property damage threshold to $149,700 and adopting an inflation-adjusted incident and accident reporting threshold, and aligning the National Response Center (NRC) notification requirements in 49 C.F.R. § 195.52 with the accident reporting requirements in 49 C.F.R. § 195.50.
