The American Petroleum Institute (API) and the Liquid Energy Pipeline Association (LEPA) support PHMSA's proposal to update its regulations by increasing the monetary thresholds triggering Operator Identification Number (OPID) notifications under 49 CFR §§ 191.22(c) and 195.64(c)(1)(i) and establish an annual inflation-indexing mechanism for those thresholds.
