The American Petroleum Institute (API) offers the following comments on the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPRM) [Docket No. TSA-2022-0001], "Enhancing Surface Cyber Risk Management." API is a national trade association that represents over 600 members involved in all aspects of the oil and natural gas industry, including producers, refiners, suppliers, pipeline operators and marine transporters, as well as service and supply companies that support all segments of the industry. API members are committed to enhancing the cybersecurity of U.S. liquid and natural gas pipelines and to continuing work with TSA to improve the efforts of companies and TSA.
