The American Petroleum Institute submits the attached comments on behalf of our membership, which includes all major oil and gas companies operating in the United States. In general, API supports the USCG in helping to advance protection of critical infrastructure, while minimizing the impact to operations and the flow of commerce. Attached are specific comments that address the issues posed in the ANPR.
