In accordance with Section 41006 of Title 41 of Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act (FAST-41), EPA is seeking public comment on the publication of the Recommended Best Practices for Environmental Reviews and Authorizations for Infrastructure Projects published by the Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Council on January 18, 2017. Specifically, EPA is seeking comment on whether and the extent to which any of the best practices are generally applicable on a delegation or authorization-wide basis to permitting under FAST-41.
