The ANIMAL HEALTH INSTITUTE (AHI) appreciates the opportunity to comment on the white paper and meeting discussion related to modernizing the approach to the oversight of certain products. Please see the attached comments.
AHI respectfully requests a 60-day extension to the deadline, which is currently April 24, 2023. AHI and its member companies acknowledge that FDA-CVB and EPA will benefit from the insights provided by stakeholders. Given the breadth and extent of the Agencies' proposed major regulatory change, additional time is required to provide in depth comments. This extension, if granted, will allow experts within the animal health industry to thoroughly review all aspects of the proposal, confer with other technical experts and craft comprehensive feedback.
