The ANIMAL HEALTH INSTITUTE (AHI) submits these comments to Docket ID FDA-2024-D-1613-0002: Raw Data for Safety and Effectiveness Studies; Draft Guidance for Industry (GFI). We are pleased to comment on this guidance, which represents an incremental step forward in the ongoing effort by both the FDA and industry to improve the efficiency of the animal drug approval process and alleviate unnecessary regulatory burdens.
