The Association for Accessible Medicines (AAM), and its Biosimilars Council (collectively referred to in these comments as AAM), are pleased to submit written comments on the March 9 "FDA/FTC Workshop on a Competitive Marketplace for Biosimilars". The purpose of the Workshop was to discuss FDA and FTC collaborative efforts to support appropriate adoption of biosimilars, discourage false or misleading communications about biosimilars, and deter anticompetitive behaviors in the biologic product marketplace. AAM appreciated the opportunity to participate in such a momentous event as well the opportunity to provide additional comments on the topic via this submission.
