Abstract
This Proposed Rule would adjust the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA) specified limits of liability for damages from offshore facilities to reflect significant increases in the Consumer Price Index. It will establish the method for calculation and minimum threshold necessary for updating future regulations. This rule is statutorily required by OPA and the DSeleware River Protection Act of 2006.
