To whom it may concern, Please accept the following comments on behalf of the Center for Biological Diversity in response to the Environmental Protection Agency's receipt of a request for an emergency exemption for Clothianidin under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act. Because the EPA has failed to comply with the clear requirements of FIFRA and the Endangered Species Act, the Center opposes this emergency exemption.

Abstract

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services requests the use of a pesticide that has been requested for five or more previous years and a registration application was submitted to EPA, but later withdrawn. EPA is soliciting public comment on the emergency exemption application
