Please see attached comments from the Center for Biological Diversity urging prioritization of vinyl chloride as a high-priority substance for risk evaluation under TSCA. Because of the dangers posed by vinyl chloride at every stage of its life cycle, EPA must ultimately ban this hazardous substance.

Abstract

To identify reasonably information that may inform the risk-based screening process for the prioritization of chemical substances as required under section 6(b) of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) and 40 CFR §702.7. The public may voluntarily submit reasonably available information on the individual chemical substances currently undergoing prioritization to the chemical-specific dockets.
