FWS–R2–ES–2020–0130; COMMENTS TO U.S. FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE ON PROPOSED RULE FOR ENDANGERED SPECIES STATUS FOR ARIZONA ERYNGO AND DESIGNATION OF CRITICAL HABITAT Please accept these comments on behalf of the Center for Biological Diversity and Maricopa Audubon. We are concerned by two deficiencies in the March 4, 2021, proposed rule: 1. The proposed rule fails to provide protection for habitat adequate to provide for recovery, and, 2. The proposed rule fails to include lack of Bureau of Land Management ("BLM") officials' professionalism as a threat to the survival of Arizona Eryngo at Lewis Springs and to the St. David Cienega within the San Pedro National Riparian National Conservation Area ("SPRNCA") which should have been included in the final Critical Habitat rule to allow for recovery. BECAUSE OF "SUBMISSION ERROR" COMMENTS ARE ATTACHED AS AN ATTACHMENT.
