CVSA is submitting a comment to FMCSA reference the definition of a tank vehicle as proposed in Docket No. FMCSA-2007-27659. We recognize the comment period has closed; however, we submitted a Petition for Rulemaking to FMCSA on this issue (Dated 02/12/08) 2 months prior to the NPRM being proposed and are attaching the Petition here as a comment to the Docket in hopes that the Agency will consider our request in conjunction with this rulemaking action.
